Chapter 297's second Annual SPRING PICNIC took place at The VAL VISTA LAKES COMMUNITY CLUB HOUSE with a wonderful group of Mended Heart's members who brought an abundance of good heart-healthy food to eat.

It was a beautiful Spring day in MAY with perfect weather. The location was breathtaking, under a private Gazebo, along the lakeside with an Olympic Pool on one side and a sandy beach pool on the other. A hearty bunch of Mended Hearts climber the Waterfall "Mountain" to view the vistas,

The food was delicious and the Mended Hearts were as enjoyable to be around as ever! Sometimes it just great to meet for the sheer fun of it! We've made it an annual event!
