In December, Mended Hearts members met at the Red Mountain Golf Resort in Mesa, Arizona for their Annual Holiday Party. Looks like Santa may have even made an appearance!

An fun evening of great heart-healthy food, prepared especially for the Mended Hearts members, by gourmet chefs at the Red Mountain Resort made the event a success!

From appetizers to desert, the feast was fit for a low-cholesterol King and Queen! Music played in the background and laughter was heard throughout!

Every now and then, a few Mended Hearts kicked up their heels to the music and shared a dance or two.

After all, it was nice to share a social evening in the Holiday Season and enjoy each other's company with little thought to heart problems and surgeries.

It was a time of joy and merriment, for sure!

Then, a moment of magic occurred when President Bob Switzer asked each member to rise and tell the group about their live, their history, their journey.

Amazingly, we learned interesting and delightful facts about each member and the fascinating paths each has taken in this world and got to know one another a little better!

So, even on this almost warm winter evening in the desert, the sounds of sleigh bells could be heard in the distance with a faint "Ho-Ho-Ho" wafting though the air!

A merry Holiday Season rang in as Mended Hearts had a Holiday Feast and shared their joyous spirits!
